Terms of Service
Last updated 21 October 2026Short terms for businesses using Socout during the beta.
1. Who these terms are between
Socout is operated by Memocult, Dr Ambedkar Street, Taramani, Chennai 600113, Tamil Nadu, India (“we”). These terms apply to the business that uses Socout (“you”). Socout is a service for businesses, not for individual consumers.
2. Invite-only beta
Socout is an invite-only beta. It is provided as is during the beta, without promises about uptime or features, and it may change.
3. Your responsibilities
- You must follow Meta's WhatsApp Business and Instagram policies for the accounts you connect.
- You must get any consent your own customers need before you message them or use their data with Socout.
- You decide what your assistant says, and you are responsible for what is sent from your accounts.
4. AI replies can be wrong
The assistant's replies are written by AI models and can be wrong. You can pause the assistant for any chat and answer it yourself. Review how the assistant is doing, because what it sends goes out under your account.
5. Acceptable use
- No spam.
- No unlawful content.
6. Suspension
We may suspend an account that breaks these terms or the Meta policies above.
7. Limit of liability
Our total liability to you is limited to the fees you paid us in the last 3 months. The beta is free, so that amount is nil, except to the extent the law requires otherwise.
8. Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of India, and the courts of Chennai have jurisdiction.
9. Your data
How we handle data is described in our Privacy Policy. To have data deleted, see Data deletion.
